Painted during my artist residency in Nordingrå, Sweden!

This painting was inspired by an incredibly beautiful and geologically interesting viewpoint. Skuleberget has the world’s highest coastline - it is high on a mountain now, but it was at sea level during the ice age and has since risen 286 meters due to post-glacial land lift. To me, this painting of the view at Skuleberget tastes like rhubarb cake - there was a cafe here and I enjoyed savoring the view with a “fika”.
