Painted during my artist residency in Nordingrå, Sweden!

Bönhamn was the first fishing village I visited at the beginning of my residency and it turned out to be one of my favorites. After spending a morning painting in the studio, I took a picnic lunch with me and walked through the tiny village to a viewpoint looking down on the harbor. The area was lush with fireweed and other wildflowers that I am used to seeing only in the mountains at home!
