Painted during my artist residency in Nordingrå, Sweden!

One of my favorite practices during my time in Sweden was swimming in the sea whenever possible. The water was cold and I didn’t stay in it long, but I took delight in the plunge and always felt energized afterwards. This painting was inspired by the view from the ferry arriving to the harbor at Ulvön island, which was one of my favorite swimming spots of the trip.
