Painted during my artist residency in Nordingrå, Sweden!

In Stockholm before heading to the residency, I visited Skansen, an open-air museum featuring buildings traditional to different parts of Sweden. The light was incredible on the day I visited, and this painting was inspired by dappled light outside a schoolhouse. I love the light in this piece - but the two little bikes might be my favorite details!
